Registering with Placeholder Delegates
If you’re not sure who from your team will be attending but want to purchase now, you can register now and assign the tickets later. Select the number of tickets you want to purchase and enter your information at the top of the order screen.
The individual placing the order can complete the registration and assignment of their tickets right from the “Complete Registration” screen by pressing the "OK" button, which will take them directly to the Manage Order page.
Alternatively, the order placer can access the Manage Order page later from the link in their order confirmation email. Not requiring order placers to fill out the information for all of their tickets at the time of purchase allows for multiple tickets to be issued for a group even if the order placer does not know the details and information of everyone who will ultimately receive them!
The Manage Order page will show all of the tickets associated with the order placer. A banner at the top of the page will let the order placer know how many tickets they have that still have not been assigned/completed registration and each ticket that has not yet been assigned will be labeled with a yellow "Unassigned" label.
From this Manage Order screen, order placers can choose to assign their unassigned tickets to others using the "Assign the ticket" button, which will prompt them to enter the first name, last name, and email of the person they want to assign this ticket to. That individual will then receive an email with a link where they can complete their registration form and receive their ticket.
If the order placer wants to assign one or more of the tickets to themselves or they know all the registration information for the individual they wish to receive the ticket, they can use the "Complete registration" button to launch the registration form for the ticket and complete the form!
